GO FOR IT
by Michael Ginn

Everyone has a dream. Everyone wants something outside of their own life, something grander, or maybe just something more fulfilling. I once knew a girl, when I was in elementary school who talked constantly of her dream of being an astronaut, a dream which as common as it is, is also widely accepted and supported by friend and family member alike. I had another friend who dreamt only of graduating top of his class, and going to University, and I'm happy for my friend that his dream came true.

But in every corner of the world, wherever television signals reach, a dream lives in the hearts and souls of many, children and adult alike. But unlike being an astronaut, most parents won't smile at you when you tell them, and unlike graduating top of your class, they usually won't throw all their support behind you. But despite all that, a good many people in this world dream of being one thing, and one thing only. A professional wrestler.

Inspired by Hogan's late 80's posturing and positive messages, Shawn Michael's endless charisma, or the high flying, table smashing of recent superstars like the Hardy Boys, most wrestling fans usually dream of some time of superstardom, in which they put the belt around their waist, climb the turnbuckles and raise their arms in victory to a screaming capacity crowd.

While some people will just dream of this, others will pursue it. Some people want it so bad they'll stop at nothing. Real Action Wrestling is giving their fans a chance to live part of that dream, by holding a training camp in late 2001, and early 2002. This gives a chance for the dreamers to make those dreams come alive, to step into them, to feel them, and decide if that's the life for them.

I'll be the first to admit, wrestling is a dream I've held onto for a long time. And again, I'm the first to admit that if I had the chance, the time, and no commitments I'd be the first to sign up for the Real Action Wrestling training school. But alas, that dream has to wait, since I won't have the time for that dream until at least the middle of next year.

But to anyone who reads this, from personal experience, I can tell you this. If you have a dream of stepping into the squared circle, go ahead and live it out. Everyone should try and live their dreams. Even if it does involve getting thrown around by people A LOT bigger then you.
